Message: The staff at the Summer Ave. store is wonderful! A competitor was unable to help with deck paint. $150 later we went to Farrell Calhoun and were guided to the perfect finish for our deck AND the gentleman who matched the color to our siding kept tweaking until it was exactly right! What great service! We won't go anywhere else in the future!

Message: Friendly people working with lots of customers while short-staffed. They know how to match & mix paint. Easy to communicate with, too. Be prepared for a bit longer wait than you might expect.

Message: I'll be honest, I haven't even been here. Yet. After reading all these absolute rave reviews, that will soon change. If the experience doesn't live up to this hype, I'll change my review.. The reason I felt compelled to give a 5 star review to some random paint supplier that I've never been to? They only have like 3 1star reviews. They seem petty at best and outright ridiculous at worst. One didn't even leave a reason for the one star review. The ultimate @$$hat move. Small businesses live and die by reviews. Someone's careless 1 star over a matter so trivial they couldn't bother to even inform other shoppers of the behavior behind it still brings down their rating. This causes them to lose business. Not even allowed them the opportunity to correct the situation is heartless. More than likely the owner has a family to support. How can he control every employees every move, especially if not informed of an issue in the first place. What really sold me tho was the sincere, detailed responses the owner gave to not only the few bad reviews but to people leaving the good ones as well. By this alone, you can tell the good ones are the accurate ones. I mean that one lady said she was calling "headquarters" because her receipt was THROWN at her! Really, Karen. Even if it was, so what? Hope you weren't injured by that tiny piece of paper. The fact she probably misread the situation somehow and that was why he looked at her like he did nothing wrong (because he didn't) never crossed her indignant mind. Still the owner responded with a kind, detailed response that is refreshing to see in todays corporations could care less world. I've made a decision to only support businesses that deserve my business and so I'm excited to do business with this one!

Message: The store has almost everything you could need for your home improvement projects when it comes to painting, epoxy, etc. If they don't have an item they can quickly order it for you. we bought a certain color epoxy and needed to trade it out and they swapped it for the item we needed no questions asked. The store on highway 70 has the best selection of items and very helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Message: The service and quality of the paint was great. The workers were all very polite and extremely helpful. The young man who helped me, Luis, was very helpful. Also, the color match he made for me was spot on. Overall great experience. Will be coming back for all my paint needs.

Message: Just the best paint and service in the industry. The owner is old school. Back when you put customers before profit. If you take care of your customers AND employees first, profit takes care of itself. They dont waste money on fancy labels because they dont sell labels. No matter what store you visit, you'll see the same faces behind the counter. The employees are loyal to their job and to their repeat customers, as well. They try to save YOU money when they can. Yep, that's true. Often they have suggested other less expensive options that will perform just as well. Sounds too good to be true, but it's really true. Unlike their competitors, I enjoy going there. Guaranteed to have a good conversation, good service and high quality paint. I hope you found out what you wanted to know in my review. Do yourself a favor, use Farrell Calhoun Paint, you'll save money. Even better, open up an account, it's free plus you'll get contractors pricing and save up to 50% off their retail prices.
